Dus Mahavidya Puja

This puja is focused on worshipping all the 10 forms of Shakti that are Kali, Tara, Shodashi, Bhuvaneshvari, Bhairavi, Chhinnamasta, Dhumavati, Bagalamukhi, Matangi  and Kamala. Maha means great and vidya means puja so a performer of this puja gets great knowledge, moksha (getting rid of the cycle of birth and death) and bhoga (fulfillment of materialistic desires).

Key Mantra

There are 4 key mantras of this puja. They are Kali Tara mahavidya Sodashi Bhuvaneswari or Bhairavi Chhinnamasta cha vidya Dhumavti tatha or Bagala siddha vidya cha Matangi Kamalatmika or Etaaha dasamahavidyaaha gupta vidyaaha prakeertitaaha.

Puja Process

The puja should begin by doing staphna of Brahma, Kalash, Devi, Ganesh and Navgraha. It should also include Navagraha Mantra Japa in which you need to use 1 mala of each planet. You also need to do Shodus Kalash Pujan, Rudra Kalash Pujan, Chetrapal Mandal Pujan, Sarvato Bhadra Pujan and Chatukasti Yogini Pujan. You also need to ensure Invocation of all Gods and Goddesses by doing Mantra Japa of each Goddess, Brahman Varn, Das Mahavidya yantra Pujan, Homa with 108 Ahutis to each Goddess and Kavach recitation of each Goddess. You should also see to pushpanjali, Yajna, Home, Aartis and Aahutis to Ganesh, Navgrahas, Devi Sukt, Rudra Sukt, Putusukt, 64 yogini and Shetrapal.
